Emperor Taizong of the Song Dynasty, Zhao Jiong, bestowed a couplet: "Three thousand members with literary grace, a family of filial piety and righteousness for five hundred years."
He also inscribed "When one dog doesn't arrive, a hundred dogs won't eat; all the different kinds in the pen follow righteousness.
When one dog barks, a hundred dogs bark in unison;
the same sound in the village guards the gate together."
He personally bestowed the plaque "Utterly Just and Selfless," issued an edict to collect the "Family Rules of the Righteous Clan of the Gate" in the National History Museum, bestowed the title "Loyal and Filial Family," and presented a poem: "Asking who is the first in the south of the Yangtze River, all say it is only the Righteous Clan of the Gate, the Chen Family."
Emperor Zhenzong of the Song Dynasty, Zhao Heng, bestowed a couplet: "Gathering three thousand people, the first in the world;
living together for five hundred years, peerless under heaven." He posthumously conferred titles on the five ancestors of the Yimen Chen family.
When Emperor Renzong of the Song Dynasty, Zhao Zhen, divided the Yimen Chen family, he personally inscribed "Yimen Shijia" and presented a poem for the division of the Yimen Chen family. Many generals, ministers, and celebrities also left poems and praises, and the Yimen Chen family became the well - deserved No. 1 family of the Chinese nation.
Its concept of taking loyalty, filial piety, integrity, and righteousness as the foundation and passing on knowledge through farming and reading has been passed down to this day and has a profound influence.
